DY-12C is not actually in stock. There is a back order until the end of June... So saying "they are in stock" is a bit disingenuous. I picked up some TSW wheels instead until my enkies are done.

Or you can try paying for Jdm 3 piece wheels for a pretty penny... In contrast, these are retailing at $185 for a brand new wheel.. which is our intent. Yoshihara designs reflect on some of the styling elements that Dai Yoshihara has liked from his past. However, we wanted to provide to consumers to have a wheel that is stylish, affordable and a good quality( NOT made in China). Most of all, knowing that wheels are inevitably going to be scraped, scruffed, and damaged, we also wanted to make sure replacement cost isnt going to take out someone's monthly rent... And in today's economy, not such a bad thing... So modular wheel no. But then again, we never tried to pass it off as a modular wheel.. Hope that explains it.

Yeah the guy called them this morning and was told they were in back order until the end of the month. It seems like their inventory system is busted.

I think if you have a chance in the future, call that 800 number which is their mail order division first as they get the newest wheels in first. You might have just asked your local store and they are a big company which would take some time to get the latest info. No worries though.. I guess you really wanted to wait for the super concave wheel we have coming out?

one question . .. weight. how much does the 18x8 weigh ?
I believe they are 23-24lbs depending on offset. Sorry, this wheel was meant to look good, not be a track star Its like clothing, suit or sports wear

Well since this thread seems to be getting good response from the manufacturer, here's a question for you Yoshihara Design. Will you be offering the same wheels that are on Dai's drift car which are on the background of the website? Those are the wheels I really like.

They've been eluding to a "wheel from a known drift car under a different brand." So I can only assume they're going to offer Dai's wheels, just under a different brand.

.. You mean our Champion F model? It is available now as order based for 2 piece forged. However, the price is expensive at $800 per wheel. The weight would be in the 18-19lb range for a 18x9.5. Special order only with 3 months lead time. We dont plan to market it heavily since we want to make sure wheels are within an acceptable price range. But dont worry, in the coming month there will be an additional exciting wheel we will be introducing that should fulfill your need

good try denkigrve, but no. Any wheel with Dai will be Under the Yoshihara brand. The other wheel will be a bit different but also available in a 18x8, 18x9.5 18x10.5 size. So, concavity on a 18x9.5 will be guaranteed for an FRS. As indicated, very exciting projects will be released.

Ah thank you for the info. Well, when I saw those I thought they would look really nice on my 2008 STi. My current wheel is basically identical stat-wise, still deciding if I want to keep them or sell em and switch to an 18x10.
