Thank you. This weekend I saw the 17X9 rpf1's with a 42mm offset on an otherwise stock suspension, running 245/40-17 michelin pilots of some sort. I figure that there must be a way to make it work with my -3* camber, I just have to figure out the right offset. It sure looks good on your car, which I imagine are et35.

Can anyone confirm any rubbing issues on a bilstein pss14 coilover running a 255/40/17? Or if I should just stick to the 245. Was looking at PS4S, Extremecontact, or something comparable if anyone has recommendations. Thank you!

I'm not 100% sure, as I haven't used Bilsteins before. However, the issue with fitting 17x9 +35 with 255s isn't strut clearance, but fender clearance. It should clear your coils just fine, and will be okay in the front with some reasonable camber to clear the fender.

Perfect, on OEM at the moment but would like the bilstein setup down the road, would camber bolts produce enough camber on their own?

I've never used camber bolts before, so I'm not sure. From what I hear, you can get -2* or so by putting the camber bolts in the *lower* holes, and using the old lower bolts in the upper holes.

I've got +45 17x9 RPF1, 245-40-17 RE71R, with a 5mm spacer so +40 effectively, Bilstein B14, two sets of lobed camber bolts (16mm & 14mm SPC) gets me to -2.6 degrees and there's not much wiggle room, I might even have a touch of rub under 10/10ths cornering, haven't pulled the wheels off to check yet but I can't see any rubbing on the tire so I'm probably ok.

Here's a pic of the above setup. Point is you're looking at a +35 with a bit less camber and you shouldn't have an issue with a 255 tire. Not too many people go for the Bilstein but it's a good option imo, just want to share the love.

Edit this setup never rubbed even with some spirited driving.

That wheel will put you in STX. I forget what the rule book says about SSC since I don't compete in it but I believe the max width you can go is 17x8 and they must weight 16lbs without additional weights.

I tracked with this setup for a long while without issue. 3mm spacer not really necessary.
