So a girl I went to high school with ended up at UC Berkeley, graduated in four years, etc.

She now writes in this style nearly any time I see her on social media and doesn't work a normal "professional job":

Quote:
oh word?? say no mo run me my issue
I understood the question, but what in the bloodiest of hells does that statement mean?

I don't even understand the question.-

UC Berkeley + too much acid = "say no mo run me my issue".

the question, as I understand it, is just the basic "oh word??", word being pretty equivalent to something like an affirmative.

So you say you hope she was at least a "hot chick" back in school, I reply back "oh, word?? ya you could say that".

Or at least I think that's how it goes.

Statement may mean "some sort of issue(somewhat troubling), does not run me no more"

My best friend from the age of about 4 to 10 had real life hippies as parents. They lived on a commune with about 20 others about 1/2 a mile from my house. They actually were dirty, did stink, ate the most horrible food and smoked a pile of pot. They also tended to walk around naked. ALOT. Which was sort of cool as I got older and got to see loads of boobies.
I know hippies!

There weren't no hippies when I was a kid - however, we had some of these:
