When one of my employees gets near the top of their pay scale and wonders why they can't get paid more, I give them my McDonald's explanation....

You start working at McDonald's at 15, and you work your tail off all the way through high school, then college, so that by the age of 21 you are the best damn hamburger flipper McDonald's has ever seen.

But guess what, you're capped out salary wise because as good as you are there is a 15 year old walking in the door hungry for a job and can be 80% of what you are in about 5 days. Don't get me wrong, they appreciate what you do, but hamburger flippers are only worth so much. If you want to earn more money at McDonald's you got to learn to make fries, ring up orders, something else.

It's no different in any job. At some point, no matter how good you are the company only puts so much value on that task. You got to be ready to move on to the next thing. So, what are you going to do next to fix this?

On a related note, I was so disappointed that Craig Breedlove didn't manage to break the sound barrier when he was racing the Brits back in 1996/97. I even threw in a few dollars as a sponsor. I still have my model of the Spirt of America and the "official signed photo" that came with the sponsorship.

Then the car was sold to Steve Fossett who died before he could try to run it. Lost track of it after that.

It's actually a seized caliper!

Hacksaw, some random calipers from the junkyard, and some zip ties, you'll be set. This forum has taught me you can use any old brakes parts, none of it matters.
