Hey the t34 was actually really clever with sloped armor and just the right size gun. The Russians picked the most numerous type of tank the Germans had (I think it was the panzer 4), then made a tank to do one thing, beat that tank... In the winter.

Then the Germans made the Tiger specifically to fight the t34 but it was too late to be made fast enough.

I was honestly ready to call him out there and then, but damn I held my cool.

Sad thing is everybody there worships him pretty much. One guy who used to be a teammate but is on another team now and has been somewhat of a mentor since I started 2.5 years ago is good friends with him from years ago at a prior company. So funny story, a couple months ago after I had a private one on one with the boss, he told me the same things from today, and I felt the same, so I go to this ex-teammate and tell him what I was told and the attitude about it from the boss, and he replies with a casual "well, he really means well, has lots of experience. I'm sure he's just trying to help you, blah blah blah."

Today during the meeting but right after my boss went off on me, I message said ex-teammate on our chatroom thingy (he's elsewhere and not in the meeting) and say "someone" (didn't name the boss) called me out in the meeting today, said X, Y, Z about me, had an attitude like I'm not putting in my work/a quitter.

Of course when I don't give a name, my ex-teammate gets super defensive toward me saying (paraphrasing) "whoa, that's ridiculous. that person is being very adversarial, you should tell John about that so he can resolve it." (John being a fake name for the boss).

I had to be like "well, to be quite honest I won't be telling John shit."

There's my story for the day, since usually you are the storyteller.
