Sorry for posting a rattle/buzzing issue in the TSB/Issues subforum.
Keeping the windows down and getting the TRD exhaust solved my rattle problems

On the topic of issues, have you had any problems with Bluetooth cutting out for a split second then returning like nothing happened? I don't know what model you have

I had the older HU prior to the 2015 (?) updates and the current one that they still use in the newest MYs and I've never once had a Bluetooth connectivity issue. Might be your phone? Personally I've only used a LG G3 and Galaxy S5-S7.

The issue persists when using multiple different phones. It did the same with my Google Pixel, and now does it with my Huawei P20 Pro. Also does it with the girlfriends phone.

Not the same car but my wife's 17 Impreza has now been in 5 times for HU updates. Toyota uses a different HU but maybe there is an update for it.

I see at least 8 ounces of unnecessary wires still.

If the sound is coming from behind the steering wheel try adjusting the telescoping steering wheel and see if it changes.

Dealership won't do shit. I would avoid that, they might fuck something else up or damage something and then charge you or create a hassle.

Chances are it's normal, sounds come and go, after a year or two with the car you will get familiar with the sounds.

Best solution is to adjust the wheel, if that doesn't fix it buy a catback exhaust and then you will barely notice it.

Also If you really think something is wrong you need a video to show the sound occurring so we can get a better idea if it is normal or what could be causing it. I promise you that you will hear more stranger sounds the longer you own it.

I do hope you figure out the sound, I'm sure you will.

Well I wouldn't want you to slip while getting in.

I've notice that many the rattles and buzzing, like the headliner, that I noticed when I first picked up my BRZ in 2012 are gone. Now it is just the road noise.

Hey, off topic but if you want a really quiet car for 25-29K, check out the 2018 Mazda CX-5. My wife just traded in her 2010 CRV last weekend for one, and the quality of the ride is unreal.
