Nope. Sometimes the remains float around for a while but eventually they stop working and then just disappear. Go check out the SFR forum to see one in the middle stages of decay. Both the DSM and Lancer ones I frequented are totally gone.

I mean Hachi hasn't posted since 2016, although he has his last activity date hidden apparently. I'm actually a bit curious who installed the existing cert, since it was issued in April of this year. People that run sites like these use them as passive income. They don't care about upkeep aside from taking on unpaid moderators.

Anyway let me stop before I go on a rant.

I love this forum even though I am not active anymore. I hope it doesn't die like the rest but I'm sure it will like fiat currency

Hey! There are more complaints about breakdowns on here than there ever was on the DSM forum. Like so many cars the bad rep was not deserved and mostly came from the Honda crowd. Pretty much the same group that likes to pretend that all Honda’s were bulletproof and had no issues at all.

Alright, I'll be fair and say that the DSMs I do have experience with were a cobbled mess of cheap aftermarket parts held together by zip ties and profanity. Sort of like the WRX guys who push 375 whp through an otherwise stock FA20 and complain about Subaru when it blows up, I have no doubt that a lot of the issues are self inflicted.

Ya the DSMs in the post F&F era were pretty much doomed. They were relatively cheap by then but still looked the part. There were also two distinctly different levels involved and most of what got the boy racer treatment we’re not the ones that were built for that in the first place.
Many people like to call the Twins the new Civic but so far it looks to be headed to a history more along the DSM line.
