I had drone with jdl uel, stock op and fp and q300. I added a hooker fp with helmholz resonator and it reduced the drone and volume might be a little less than stock. I get a base drone at 2000rpm.

Installed JDL catted headers with stock overpipe and mid pipe and Borla catback.

It’s not loud at all, maybe a just a tad over what the stock header sounded like. Honestly sounds very OEM. The rumbly boxer sound is deep and full of bass in the cabin. You can still have a conversation with the passenger and listen to music.

From the YouTube videos of JDL headers I was afraid that they’ll give off a really high pitched raspy sound, but fortunately I got none of that.

As for performance gains, there’s a bit more pick up after 4K RPM, but it’s barely noticeable. I’m hoping an OFT tune would wake up the car some more. So far no CEL.

If anyone says interested in a sound clip, I can try to record one. It’s pretty hard to pick up the sound on the iPhone though.

It's the catless headers you expect to get a lot more noise (and power) with. With a catted your gains are limited but you may never see a CEL. But definitely still get a tune as soon as you can. I will be going catless so expecting a lot more noise

Stock header but catless front pipe, huh? 188 whp is very good for stock header.

Wash, clay, polished in a few areas (it didn't seem to do much), waxed, interior cleaned.

This week she goes in for a long-overdue dry-dock session: replace the right rear quarterpanel (damaged it on a curb in a parking structure months ago), tidy up bottom of door, and (finally!) replace my cracked front bumper cover. She's gonna look so sharp

Ordered my first (and hopefully only!) set of new wheels. Expecting delivery in the next few weeks.

Installed JDM OEM clear side markers and Diode Dynamics amber LED lights. Install was fairly straightforward, but it doesn't feel like either housing really clicked back into place like I thought they would. The original OEM ones were in very securely, and these new ones don't really give me that same confidence. Have to bring the car to the dealership service department Tuesday morning (torn CV boot on on the right rear wheel), so maybe I'll have them take a look to see if they can get them in a little better.

Slapped on a Sprintex Stage 2 SPS about a month ago, along with a Racer X oil catch can, Racer X master cylinder brace, and Carbing strut bar to replace the AEM strut bar since it didn't clear the SC.
