Finished putting on some used RCE in my rear and SPC LCA, took 4.5 hours roughly. First one took 3 hours, 2nd one took an hour, 30 mins to clean up and tighten everything.

A few LED mods today. First, some under hood lighting. There are two 12" strips on the underside of the hood (the little ridge just before the sound deadening material) and then three strips under the lip at the firewall. I had a similar mod in my previous car and the firewall lights lit up the oil filter and dipstick... here they are more for just looking cool, but still a functional mod as they are very bright LEDs. I'm not crazy about the color and may replace them with something less blue and closer to the next mod (but the wiring harness I made makes it easy to swap the strips out). The wiring harness is all custom and the strips are just some junk I picked up at AutoZone as my go-to for LEDs (VLEDS) doesn't carry the weatherproof strips I need.
Next, some really bright 6000K footwell lights hooked into the dome circuit (I also have dim colored footwell lights that come on with the lights for mood lighting). These are a perfect match for my map light bulb. Links to both below. Oh and I also scored some stock carpet mats on ebay. My lightly used 86 had WeatherTech mats which I'll use in the winter, but are pretty ugly that well lit if you don't need them in the summer months. http://www.vleds.com/shop-products/a.../pcb-14-c.html http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbe...5-24-ll-c.html |

I'm not sure exactly but they are about two times the length of OEM. Open ended lug nuts are pretty much required for these.

These studs are meant to be used in conjunction with wheel spacers, I believe, which I don't use. Thankfully Muteki lugnuts are long enough that the studs don't stick out of them. Though, you can see the dome tip and it actually provides a nice contrast to the otherwise black wheels/tires/lugnuts setup. I'll probably paint them black if I get tired of the look.

BTW, on the rare times someone else has done my changes it has always been overfilled which can be bad.
