Just ordered mine with the performance icon. Probably won't be on the exterior of my car. But I'll find somewhere to put it.

If you are gay then no worries, I just don't think that's the appropriate badge to say you like "the outdoors"
I love the outdoors. Do you? Wanna go pitch a tent with me?

It doesn't look bad and is actually pretty clean, but I would never do it. Personally, I have no desire to let the world know how many other cars of the same manufacturer I've owned or what kind of activities I do, since most of the time people will see it will be either when you'd be driving (and cannot really exchange information or even a thumbs-up since they'd be behind you) or when the car is parked (and you would not be near the car anyway). There isn't really a big point to it.

If anything, it might entice people to do something. It might not be a big problem for the BRZ (since it's a smaller car to begin with), but if you had a Subaru hatchback with tinted windows but with the badge for snow sports/outdoor sports, maybe a thief might think you have that kind of gear inside and possibly target your car. Even with the photography badge, people might think you have some equipment inside. Even if there's nothing in there, people might vandalize your car anyway and break a window, force open a door, etc.

I didn't want to muck up the back of my beautiful GBS, so I actually put it in the glove compartment, on the back side of the door, so you can see the badge nicely when the door is open.

Between this post and the thread where people were scared to post their VIN online I am convinced that BRZ/FRS owners are the most paranoid people in the world

I don't own an FR-S/BRZ.

But I work in insurance, and I am just accustomed to thinking of how I can reduce the chances of stuff happening to me.

I once had somebody break my window/door to get into my Legacy literally for the $3 in change in my car. People that would break into your car probably wouldn't even notice the badge, and if they did they probably wouldn't even think about it. If they look in and see something they want they'll go for it. If they look in and see nothing they might go for it just to explore (as happened to me). Unfortunately for me they also found my nav unit that I keep in the center console (not visible, never mounted anywhere, etc).

I ordered one; 1st Subaru with the gear and wrench. No way is it going on the car. Thinking I might put the badge on my desk at work, or somewhere in The garage. I actually want to de-badge the Subaru letters from the trunk.
They quote 4-6 weeks for delivery of the ownership badge.

I never owned a subaru..I thought it was neat so I got them...they're plastic, not interesting enough to go on the actual car...I bought a generic license plate frame and stuck them on. Saw a thread in the FR-S section for a body color painted license plate frame...so I might end up peeling them off.
