Hey, i'm the original poster with this problem. I don't own an FR-S anymore but just to help out anybody who comes across this thread - I just disconnected the battery, let it sit for 15 minutes, and reconnected it. I never had any problems after that. The alarm shop I talked to suspected maybe something was just reset / fixed when I disconnected the battery (which I guess it was fixed). Probably something faulty with the aftermarket alarm which was also reset/fixed when the battery was disconnected.
