Nice Vader, that's all I noticed. I can't seem to look at the springs without jumping back to vader.

@BreakTraction for more on my build.
Do you get more attention from the police because of the wing?

I think those retro california plates are the best looking custom plates ever. I'm curious.. what does SLURVE mean?

In other news, I installed CQUK to my new wheels. Getting an Eibach pro kit and wheels + new rubber installed next week. Getting excited!

Because I didn't want to use an add-a-fuse since the fuse cover would no longer fit, I used the power outlet behind the glove box and just used a plug adapter and sent it to an auxiliary 6 outlet small fuse block. I located the fuse block and sensor control unit in the passenger footwell and the monitor under the left side of the dash on the driver's side. I really didn't want any junk on the dash, either this or a phone mount, so it is a great position. I also connected the radar detector to the same fuse box. Having done this before, I also disconnected the buzzer inside of the sensor monitor because I know when to look and sometimes a heavy rain will set it off. Works great and prevents me from scraping the front. Here are the parts I used:

I also tightened the ProClip Console Phone mount which is the best solution I've seen for holding a phone. Since I have Bluetooth and Android Auto, there is no reason to have the phone high on the dash, but I don't like it just loose in the car either. And I didn't have to make any holes or take off parts to get it installed.
I have an Android Auto head unit in my BRZ and I also didn’t want any junk on the dash or to have my phone loose in the car. I installed the OEM armrest and it has a groove that allows for a cord to pass into the center console area with the lid closed, so that is where my phone resides while connected to Android Auto.

Thanks! It's probably the best choice for a non-CF lip out there currently for the 2017+ bumpers. Eventually if/when more options come out I may swap but at this point new ones could be 1-2 years away.

Oh shit, sorry I forgot to respond.

SLURVE is a type of pitch in baseball. Combination of a curve and slider.

I like baseball and felt like those two pitches themselves sort of fit the car since it's fun in the curves and it can slide a bit. Felt like a cool way to name it.

That's where I used to store my phone, but it moved around too much and occasionally I wanted to be able to look at the screen because I don't use Android Auto all of the time. Which armrest did you get? The one that slides back or tips up?

The one that tips up, this one https://www.86speed.com/products/gt8...t-lhd-red.html Originally I bought it just to have somewhere comfortable to rest my arm and to be more aesthetically pleasing than a gaping hole... but it also solved the problem of where to put my phone.

Where did you get it?

Luckily they come cut to size, I'm not that precise lol. Usually they come with the right sizes for front/rear and sometimes one for the steering wheel.

The blue stars logo on the rear is from ebay and the front and steering wheel are from jdmfv.com. The jdmfv stuff is a little pricier than most of whats on ebay/amazon, but I gotta say I had zero air bubble issues with them (I ruined one of the ebay ones lifting/reapplying/trying to get air bubbles out).

Installed a new clutch today. Throw out bearing went out on me less than a week after coming back from a deployment. Since the throw out bearing gave up and you have to take apart the transmission, I figured I’d replace the clutch too. Went with Sounthbends stage 2 endurance clutch. Good for about 350 ft/lb of torque
