Dude, the preferred term is "poser-curious". Red and Er should ask mods to close threads when they are answered definitively, in this case by steve99, so they don't have to wade through several pages of back-slapping feel-good.

Most threads around here do actually answer the OP's question, or at least the mob comes up with some good leads. That's boring, it's the back-slapping that's fun to read. The only Debbie-downer in this thread is Red, possibly Er.

I was just hoping we could keep the thread on topic so we can discuss the technical topic. I'd like to see some progress made if maybe this could be a real thing those of us who want it could use it.

Almost every mod has those who love it and those who hate it. I'd just like to move on from there.

If that's what you want, shouldn't you post the question on the appropriate sub-forum? Unfortunately there's no poser forum, but the Software Tuning forum seems like it would be more likely to give you the agreement you want. Or at least if they also think you're a poser, they'll at least have the ability to tell you that in technical terms.

I mean, this is one of the general forums, so the poser cam is really sort of fair game in here. That's why we have sub-forums in the first place.

You got an answer earlier in the thread. Dude made it, couldn't make money so abandoned it. If anybody else has made one they haven't spoken up. The car has been around for 5 years. If there was enough demand for this it would exist by now.

Nah. We don't have sliding sun visors either. I'm convinced there's demand for them. I know I'd have my credit card out within seconds of someone announcing them. But as far as I know nobody has made any.

I'd even buy them if they were called poser visors.

If you mean the ones with the slide out extenders check the parts list for the 17 Impreza. If you mean ones that slide along the top of the windshield somebody needs to get on that.

It wasn't by choice. My job requires it. I'm a rental car whore. My car was purchased with the expense money from my job, so it's okay with it.
