I just got my Asphalt FR-S this past Saturday morning.
Driving from the dealership to my house, I pulled into a side street to see probably about 15 RX-8s lined up waiting one after the other at the light, so I slowed down to take a look at the cars, and passing by, both the last 2 drivers were giving me the thumbs up. Later that day, someone walking by when the car was in my driveway stopped to talk to me about it, asking questions and commenting how awesome it looked. Sunday I drove it to a nearby town with my gf, and the tailgating and then pulling up beside me to check it out must have happened at least a dozen times on the way there and back. Yesterday after work random people from different offices were standing around my car looking at it when I came down to go home. and I've been asked 4 times now in parking lots about the car, parking lots and gas station...

Lots of POS primered ricers roll up looking to race. It's getting annoying.

On the drive home last night a blue hair driving a Crown Vic motioned for me to roll down my window. Asked me if it was an FR-S, yelled awesome, gave the thumbs up and he sped off. That was a cool senior citizen in my book!

I posted a while ago I think but I still haven't had anything too interesting happen. Cars do seem to act a bit different when they notice I'm around though, whether it be the tailgating or bobbing back and forth beside me on the interstate checking it out.
One guy at a gas station astoundingly enough seemed to know the car had a boxer engine (unless he overheard me talking to another guy about it). And then there's the chase behavior I had the other night with an older camaro. Took a turn onto a side road about 200 feet after they did at about 50 (was a wide access for cars coming off the main road) or so and they apparently just decided to hang back as though I was going to chase them or something. They eventually just hauled off down the road at who knows what speed, squealing tires, etc.

I am still waiting on the wheels to come in. I took the car before the dealer had all the parts. Just couldn't wait.

Oh btw digital, how are the lowering springs that come with the kit? Do they lower it enough to be pretty close to hella flush? Does the dealer do an alignment after they install the springs?

Today I had a cop stop me to ask what the heck my car was.
"Scion? That's like a Toyota right?" "Yah it's the same company more or less" "Can't believe this is a Toyota, bitchin car!"

Springs are still on order too but DarrenDriven has a 1" drop on his which I saw last weekend and it looks good but no where even close to Hella Flush with that drop. Also, with the offset of the wheels that come on the Five Axis kit I am expecting to see the face of the rim quite a way from being flush without use of spacers. It's killing me to wait for the car to be complete. Sad thing is that I had to drive almost 300 miles to pick it up so now I have to drive that far to complete the package and fix the lip kit. Although to get back on topic when I drove it home from the dealer I had 300 miles of various people checking it out. Even had a Jaguar pull up next to me and pace for a while.

I had a guy come up to me a few mins ago (while I was getting gas) and he was all... "Is that the new Scion with Boxer engine in it?" I was like, yea, it is. Then we chatted for a bit. He said it looks so much smaller than it does on TV. I agreed that it's tiny. Was good that someone knew what it was tho!
