Yeah man, its not like ALL of Japan is in disaster state atm. Could easily go to Osaka, or Kyoto, and its probably (for the most part) business as usual.

Could go to Okinawa as well.

SoCal isn't the U.S.......well, at least, it should've broken off into its own little "Wtf" country by now...cept San Diego. San Diego is cool.

Think Escape from L.A., only, its not a prison island. Its just an island.

Sorry I know you're serious and I agree that California is practically it's own country but I'm glad someone else caught that bit.

If you hate the US and you live in Cali, you're missing out on 90% of the country. Come visit West Kentucky/Tennessee, Giccin. Then maybe you won't hate it, you'll probably only dislike it .

And just a side comment about the 4/20 reference, don't get me started .

GT-R = Direct Revival of an OLD legend...HA
The GT-R was an evolution of the SKYLINE. If it was a direct REVIVAL, it would have been RWD, NA and light with some retro aspects thrown into the design. The reason Nissan sold it as a Nissan is because everyone(nearly) knows that ---GT-R = Nissan not Infiniti.

The Skyline didn't die....it was sold here as a Infiniti G35.

Yep, but I think it was a Revival of a legend in image only, rather than vehicle. A lot of people are still on about the tag Skyline as synonymous with the GTR icon. When it was already clearly said after the GT-R was announce for production that it is not a skyline its a GT-R. Hence NISSAN GT-R (R35) vs NISSAN/INFINITI SKYLINE "G35" (V35).

Honestly im glad they split the image with a separate chassis, but people still call the current GT-R a skyline. Its just old bad habits at work.

C'mon man, that was not a true skyline. It shared the same chassis and engine as the 350z. The "skylines" of the 90's were not related to the Z's.

As for GTR's, they have always been turbo and AWD.

Same shit! Mexicans want to be classified as Hispanics, Latinos or Chicanos. I asked 3 people at work what that dude on the Scion Carlsbad looks like and they all said Filipino. Filipinos are considered Asians even though some rather go with "pacific islander".

I was in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville back in '07 for my friend's wedding. I had a blast out there. We went to some shopping center which had a restauarant that becomes a club at night. Nothing like California though.

the other 90% of the country has all the same downsides of being in CA and none of the upside

A TRUE skyline is a RWD Coupe or Family Sedan. With Several performance trims GT-M/GT-S/GTS-T/ GTS-4/GTS-25/RS.

It just so happens that the GT-R icon infested the Skyline family with its Racing DNA. (GTRs have not always been AWD turbo Starting with the C110 GTR being a 2.0L N/A RWD. AWD didnt come in until MUCH MUCH later)

If anything the G35 and G37 is a step into the pure skyline heritage. Without the GT-R icon messing with the branding.

Skylines werent legendary until the introduction of the AWD system which got them sooo many titles and race wins hell they even got banned just so it would be competitive

but I do agree skylines under the prince name are jdm classics

Also I find it hard to agree that the G35 and G37 are a step closer to legit Skylines consider they are marketed as luxury 1st kind of car and that deff wasnt what it was all about back then. Skylines are not copies of Z and that is exactly what the G series is

There is plenty to hate to be sure.

Wait how did this get ?
I honestly don't know how it got to this. >_> But yea, there are some good points to the U.S but the majority of the time it just isn't a "good place" to live in and to point it out. It is going to get worse. Read up on "Marshall Law" if you get the chance too.

Also the police are corrupt. Pulling me over to ask why I have a domo-kun hung on my rear view. Bloke doesn't even go fight crime.

People already pointed it out a few reasons to move out of the U.S

I've been to other states. Colorado for example... I was kicked out of a restaurant because "I didn't belong here."

As for L.A. Lets not even go there. lol
