Sorry I know you're serious and I agree that California is practically it's own country but I'm glad someone else caught that bit. If you hate the US and you live in Cali, you're missing out on 90% of the country. Come visit West Kentucky/Tennessee, Giccin. Then maybe you won't hate it, you'll probably only dislike it .And just a side comment about the 4/20 reference, don't get me started .

The GT-R was an evolution of the SKYLINE. If it was a direct REVIVAL, it would have been RWD, NA and light with some retro aspects thrown into the design. The reason Nissan sold it as a Nissan is because everyone(nearly) knows that ---GT-R = Nissan not Infiniti. The Skyline didn't die....it was sold here as a Infiniti G35. |

Honestly im glad they split the image with a separate chassis, but people still call the current GT-R a skyline. Its just old bad habits at work.

C'mon man, that was not a true skyline. It shared the same chassis and engine as the 350z. The "skylines" of the 90's were not related to the Z's.
As for GTR's, they have always been turbo and AWD.

It just so happens that the GT-R icon infested the Skyline family with its Racing DNA. (GTRs have not always been AWD turbo Starting with the C110 GTR being a 2.0L N/A RWD. AWD didnt come in until MUCH MUCH later) If anything the G35 and G37 is a step into the pure skyline heritage. Without the GT-R icon messing with the branding.

but I do agree skylines under the prince name are jdm classics Also I find it hard to agree that the G35 and G37 are a step closer to legit Skylines consider they are marketed as luxury 1st kind of car and that deff wasnt what it was all about back then. Skylines are not copies of Z and that is exactly what the G series is |
