It opens for the public on April 22, with 20 and 21 being press days. I think.

So hopefully we will get some info on the 19th from a die hard fan... LOL...

Is Toyota seriously insane? hopefully not. Why don't they just badge it Toyota Celica or whatever sound good.

My boy thinks it's a countdown for the Scion Dimensions event like they did last year where you can drive different vehicles and stuff.

I wounder why everyone hate scion? I mean even if the ft86 comes as scion in the end we all WIN just driving the ft86 everyday, dont we ?

Toyota doesn't win, cause we'll hate them while driving a car we feel should be a Toyota brand.

On top of that, I can't get Scion here. I have to drive 13 hours just to start seeing Scions on the road, and even then they are rare because everyone already bought something else.

So with that said, I hope Dragonitti is right.

Just our pride gets in the way driving Scion. If I write this, I know Dragon gonna come to flame me, but typically Scion as teenager riced out car... & yes, I know that that's not the case, but it just come automatic just like Miata been defined as chick car (even tho that's not the case).

The FT86 was inspired by toyotas sports car of the past so to see something that is suppose to remind me of a toyota car be badge something else is kinda meeehh to me

What you said is true tho. Why did they have to talk a lot about bringing passion back to Toyota when they bring it as a Scion here? Toyota USA has no passion?

Toyota USA's car line up is homogenized and boring. But it sells cars so they don't want to "disturb" the waters there I guess?

True, they don't want to risk adding one good machine to the stable because it will bother those boring econo boxes (except Land Cruiser) to hell. I know the car will sell well in Scion's stable, but how many 2 door Scion needs?
