Do you know how much weight will be added if we take the automatic transmission option?

LOL I don't "know" anything. The clickbaits don't either they are all just running with info that the others write. If you want to go with their supposedly leaked version there will only be an auto with no manual option so that weight is it.

We are pretty off topic but the BMW Z4M coupe might give us a better idea regards to what to expect from the Supra in some ways and probably same wheel/tire sizes too.

I'm not sure about that, that car is a good bit smaller but also had a very heavy iron block motor. Maybe that balances out? 🤨

I like this article since they distrust the info as much as I do.

it will, press release said the wheelbase is at 2,470mm or 97.2 inches.

Although it is pretty safe to assume things like wheelbase will stay the same in the production model let's keep in mind the press release is talking about a racing concept. Once we have a release on the production car then we can start talking in certainty. I know I sound really I am nit picking but the various details could still change.

i think what will change is length & width because of the wide body kit and crazy diffuser. height because its most likely lowered. but i really think the wheelbase is set. its worth noting that past Z4s also came in around 98 inches.

Oh I agree with you 99% That 1% of doubt nags at me though. The internet "magazines" have ruined my trust of journalism forever.

On the other hand, how many people back in the late 80's would have thought an 86 would be worth twice as much as the Supra that came out the year later?
I've got both an original 86 and a Supra, and was planning on getting a new Supra, but once I heard the tS was coming to the US and the Supra would be auto only, I knew which one to get.

Very nice. I don't know much about MKIII Supras but do you think the headgasket issues are a big reason why they are not as desirable?

Which car do you prefer to drive?

The 7m head gasket issue was fixed awhile ago when Toyota found out they weren’t torque the bolts enough. The mkiii lowered, nice wheels, and big spoiler looks sick. To me that supra Make and year is reasonably price compared to mkiv. The mkiv is so over priced. I can’t wait for the new supra. All the mkiv supra is gonna drop in price!

Nah. This thing is a Supra in name only and will not impact the price of the others in anyway. Even with all the hype the new one could totally flop and be the Aztec of the Toyota world.
