Are V4 tunes available for EUDM 2018 manual BRZ as it has different calibration ID from USDM cars?
Shiv are you there?

I am waiting my new Tactrix cable and I'll tell you for sure, I can send you my original maps for base although I'll probably buy an OFT in the near future.
Thanks in advance Steve!

If you getting that code you would also expect to see high positive fuel trims.

P0420 is the code for cat efficiency.

Post up a log of tune

With parameters below cruise idle and a wot run to redline

V4 tune iam intial is set to 0.7 so each time car stopped it resets to 0.7

IAT / Intake Air Temp (F)
IAM / Ignition Advance Multiplier
FLKC / Fine Learning Knock Correction (degrees)

well I win dumbass of the day award. Looks like when I first installed my UEL headers I put in a o2 spacer on the rear o2 bung to try to drive a bit on the stock tune. I never went back and removed it after using the OFT. Haven't tested yet but I'm sure that's the culprit. Also looks like there is a v4.03 for k00c now so I will load that in too.

I'm used to corvette world where we just tune out or turn off the rear o2 sensors and you can leave them in or take them out. Looks like on these cars they must still serve another function besides checking for a cat efficiency correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you everyone for steering me in the right direction

I'm trying to go from v2.061 tunes to v4 tunes on my '13 manual BRZ (CAL ID ZA1JA01C), but I've been having a beast of a time getting the tablet to load the new maps.

Every time I try to upload a file, I'm getting the DEV121.dll message about the checksum being wrong. I followed the support guide for that error, but it's the same every time I try to upload a ROM. Tried older v2 ROMs and new v4 ROMs and four different PCs, with various versions of Win7/Win10 and I keep seeing it. I've been in contact with Anthony from OpenFlash, but we've not found a fix yet.

I have an older v1 tablet that hadn't been updated in a couple years; could there be some data problem with the tablet that's preventing me from loading new maps?

I was able to load my stock ROM tonight, would erasing the tablet and starting from scratch be worth trying?

Thanks all!

I changed the ignition timing post start to -18.95 (wouldn't let me change to -19 for some reason) and changed all the idle entries on tables A to F from 1200 to 1400 but I am still not getting a loud cold start. Car has been sitting for 4+ hours and the temperature outside is 13 deg C (55F). Perhaps I am missing something or maybe its just not cold enough outside?

stock cold start is very loud also because has higher idle so if you want it loud rise it like at 1400 rpm minimum, on the "left" zones of the idle maps

v4 tunes has max of 1200rpm that s not much to get it loud

but yes, it s basically only that, try put -15 or -19 (this one is on my17+ stock rom) and hear it

but v4 has maf correction after start a lot reduced on cold start, you should put higher values on the first 2 rows in those 2 maps, but v4 oft definitions have them not defined, you need better definitions to modify them

in ots tunes af#3 (=rear o2 sensor corrections regulations ) are still enabled at stock values (+-50%), you could just put them at 0 and it just stop working

but steve said that CEL is relative to FRONT o2, not the secondary one
so if you have that cel, you need to control afr and check for leaks

not cold enough relative to idle maps you have, but i suspect it s because of the maf correction after start maps
did you touch them? v4 "flats " them, you need to increase each value in the first 2 rows

maybe the idle is still not high enough, try to raise it depending on the ambient temperature you are getting now.. maybe copy stock subaru values
use the definitions steve provided to us in the first post to be able to see the maf correction after start maps

That's where my confusion is coming from. By definition P2270 Is Bank 1 Sensor 2, which refers to the post cat sensor.

I did check the tightness of everything down there. I an very usually very careful about putting the sensors in the same hole they came out of on the stock headers. I will double check the part #'s to make sure they didn't get switched.

No sir, just changed idle speed targets. Where can I find these fields to change? I started the car up this morning and the revs shot past 1600 rpm for a second, then dipped below 700 rpm then finally sat at around 1300 rpm. I turned the car off after a minute, turned it back on and it sat at 1400 rpm. It's a tad louder than before but i wonder why it dips like that?

are you using the definitions steve posted in first post?
you find the two maf corrrection after start in the mass airflow section
in v4 the first 2 rows are same as the other rows..from 8 to 4
you want maybe to start 15 and finish with 5 or 6

then maybe do a blend with stock values in idle tables to rise it a bit.. the higher the idle speed is, the louder it will be

I just got an OFT 2.0 for my 2018 tS. However, I do not see a calibration file for my car from the website.

"ZA1JN10C"

How can I get a OTS tune that is compatible for my 2018 tS?
