The solution is always the same, cuts and downsized bureaucracy. But what happens, more added and spending through the roof.

Anyway sorry dont want to start any political stuff so ill just say my 5 year plan is get out of the city, hopefully in 3. Looking for a different state but not sure where to go

I've been in the same pickle for a while. The sad reality is that WA has one of the best job markets in the US. That and the scenery is really the only thing keeping me here. The cost of living is getting out of hand, but that comes with a big economy. However, it won't be long until Seattle is San Fran and Tacoma becomes San Jose. Great news for home owners i guess...

Then Yakima becomes Tahoe.

Edit: Which has happened to Bend, OR. It's the place to go escape the Portland Metro area... except.. that's where everyone else goes as well.

I’m happy to be in Pierce County. It’s the race tracks primarily that keep me here. CA has lots of race tracks within relatively close proximity to each other but then again CA cost of living is worse than WA so there’s that.
