coilover install question
Hey guys,
I am planning on installing ohlins coilovers. I understand that it is recommended to replace some of the oem bolts in the front and back. I cant seem to find it. Can you guys let me know which ones and part numbers? Thanks |

I believe there are some suspension bolts that Subaru specifies to not re-use and to replace with new ones. Something about threads getting elongated and proper torque specs, yadda yadda.

There are a lot of fasteners that Toyota says are non-reusable. Here is one example. |

That is weird. They are torqued fairly tight so maybe they stretch a bit.

The diagram only shows the nuts are non-reusable, not the bolts.

I’ve out 130lbs on those hub nuts several times now, maybe they assume people will use a 12pt head and chew it up over time?
