![]() Duuuuude, you're right! I wasn't holding it down long enough. Lol. ![]() Basically, I'm so used to engaging it at a lower mph that I'm thinking it's normal for the top light go on first, then the bottom light turns on. So at higher mph, when I don't see the top light go on, I only hold for a little longer and then give up before dropping speed. So after trying it at higher speed, not seeing the first light, I thought 'see, this isn't gonna work, but hell with it, just keep holding it...' and boom, the two lights come on at the same time! I was like 'holy shizz, wtf?!?' Never occurred to me both lights would go on at the same time. You deserve a beer my friend.

I didn't do anything to help, but I'd be happy to accept the beer on behalf of Stang. Anything by Singlecut will do.

Ashamed to say I’ve never noticed much of a difference in handling with TRACK mode on vs. off, to a point where even with the dash lights indicating TRACK on I’m still left wondering if anything’s really changed. ):

Keep it enabled if you truly have zero traction on both wheels as the HLSD turns into an open diff when that's the case. |

That isn't true. It disables traction control, but it does not disable the e-diff function. You can have it off and the e-diff will still operate. Turning TCS off only prevents the car from limiting power to the rear wheels.

I have found that the degree of misunderstanding over these two buttons, how they are used, what they do, etc... is far-reaching in the Twin community. I have no idea why. I may create a guide on the 86owners website I have just to try to provide a single resource for everyone.
