Lucked out on camber bolts!

Only one set of SPC camber bolts on stock suspension, installed on the top, and managed to get this out of it:



Looking forward to this AX season, that's for sure.

I'm sitting on stock suspension for now. Coils aren't really going to be in the works until at least next year, and I'm looking at STX instead of SSC. I really like that I don't have the torque dip any more with the headers I've got on there and I don't really fancy putting the stock headers back on to qualify for SSC.

Yeah that's the 14mm cam bolt, it should go in the bottom hole, not the top. Hopefully the shop put it in the bottom hole and swapped the OE lower bolt to the top bolt, otherwise you have a seriously undersized bolt in the top hole. It'll probably be fine but there's a small chance that have a bolt that small may be stressed improperly and may fail, especially if it comes loose.

Apparently you used a different part number than I did, my 14mm bolt was 81260

The Koni struts for SSC have an oversized hole, the OE struts have one hole that's smaller than the other limiting camber. Minor CS scandal when it was figured out, Koni sent out washers to bring the struts back into spec but apparently left the enlarged hole for the SSC build.

fwiw it's pretty common for a single camber bolt in one hole (oe or aftermarket) and the proper factory bolt in the other hole limits camber to being no more than 2 degrees. I'd suspect OP's shop installed it the 'proper way' similar to SSC, 14mm cam bolt lower hole, OE small bolt upper hole and the OE struts are limiting it to -2.4. A good tech might be able to find another tenth or two with some effort, but the enlarged hole in the Koni's was worth about half a degree to one degree iirc.
