Kits is not the problem, the problem would be when you do shortcuts/hack jobs. Also reliability mods must be on like oil cooler

Yeah my tuner has some deal going on where it works out well for the customer's. He also prefers to tune this turbo because he said it's extremely easy to tune vs other kits which require more attention.

I got a JDL oil cooler, Radium CC and a vented Varis CF hood after doing the kit.

It's smart - there's a lot to be said for having the install & tune done by the same person, who has experience with both the kit and these cars. So many issue have to do with bad tunes with good installs, or good tunes trying to compensate for a bad install, or some combination of both

It's much better for both the customer and the installer's reputation to be a one stop shop.

Nevermind I see you found it already.
I have spent a lot time reading and learning! But there seems to huge gaps of information missing. Maybe that's because I am in Germany and there isn't an English speaking tuner near me.

Journal bearing turbos tend to not have as quick of a response as ball bearing turbos due to friction. Honestly though, to the average person it's hard to tell the difference especially with the little amount of boost our platform can handle on a stock motor. When you start pushing over 14psi or so you'll start to notice the difference more.

WORKS Stage 2 FTW -- use your existing header if already purchased, includes either OFT or Ecutek tune and California CARB/Smog legal!

Designed with longevity/dependability in mind and I couldn't be happier.

We've got a promo right now where you get a FREE SBD 2.5" Overpipe & Front Pipe ($400 Value) w/ purchase of a $2999 Dual Ball-Bearing SBD500X turbo kit. Save some money!

The next batch of kits ordered this week will ship the week of August 15th. The OP/FP Combo will ship the day you order.

Once OP/FP inventory is depleted, this promotion is over. We've got about 10 kits left.
