Just curious, how much improvement are people seeing from a larger throttle body? I know some have done that mod. What about those who have installed the FBM intake? Seems like a larger TB and/or FBM intake would provide some insight about how limiting the stock TB/intake is for those hoping these kits will add significant power besides just throttle response. I think it is telling that they don’t provide a dyno or expected power gains.

Ah, but you already sold me the exhaust and I am deeply committed to keeping the car NA. I am already planning for the element tuning big head NA engine, if ITB's will have the flow up top I imagine that will make this car perfect for me. The biggest concern is going to be cooling at high altitude.

220 for SC money would be worth it for me. The FA needs more NA builds that show the car world that it deserves respect.

That is deeply disappointing for me, but I appreciate the heads up. I guess I am back to looking at stroker kits. Even going that route I am still very interested in what they do for the oiling issues.

Itbs will probably reshape the auc. Just have to be patient. Imo 250 whp na will probably cost more than an ls swap.

On the Vivid racing website looks like the kit needs original OEM electronic throttle body and compatible fuel injectors and fuel rail as additional fuel management not included. I thought it was plug and play really...I mean for the amount of money they cost I would have thought would be an easy drop and tune kinda thing.
Where can one get the compatible fuel injectors and fuel rail for this ? Last edited by Hawk77FT; 05-03-2018 at 01:30 AM. |

so "engine power 206" translates to how much to the wheels?
Also: would a car like this be driveable in the winter? And if you don't go with trumpets, would it still sound as good?

206 is probably 180whp give or take. You'd have to know how much the header/tune combo was worth in order to delineate anything.
