Well, been on my current job for almost a year now and I don't see it going anywhere. If it was something I enjoyed doing, I'd consider sticking around, but it's not and they don't really pay me enough for me to not mind.
The interview left a bad taste in my mouth, so don't think I'll be applying to any more management jobs. Think I'll be happy just being another peon lol. |

Report any product design concerns or issues to direct supervisor. Develop strong working relationships with customers conveying both professionalism and strong product knowledge. Direct the efforts of support technicians when conducting ride work at customer locations. Maintain equipment, tools, and prepare ride kits in a safe, organized, and professional manner. Support basic ride truck maintenance, including repairs, stocking and re-organization of internal tools. Maintain an organized and hazard-free work area in compliance with all policies and governmental guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Participate in continuous improvement programs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies. Support product development engineering activities when directed. Comply with all IATF16949 and policies and procedures. Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering 0-2 years of related experience in product development/testing and/or automotive service (includes internship experience) Basic knowledge of suspension technology Experience with engineering assembly drawings Ability to read and understand component and blue print drawings Working knowledge of testing practices and test benches Ability to use precision measuring devices including calipers, micrometers & dial indicators. Proficient with Microsoft Office Software Ability to operate Roehrig dynamometers and Sachs SP testers. Ability to evaluate vehicle ride characteristics and associate them with product specific component changes. Ability to troubleshoot computer, and equipment problems when working in remote customer locations. Ability to travel and work on a domestic and international basis for 2-3 week periods with little or no support. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and schematics Ability to learn computer controlled measurement machines Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management Good verbal and written communication skills Strong mechanical experience and solid problem-solving/analytical skills with a high attention to detail Valid driver's license
