Did you just remove the black and follow the existing holes? I haven't sown anything in a long long time. |

Nope, too much hassle to remove the black stitching so i just went over it with the red, follow the holes and you will be fine. its not that hard but once you've finished you will be glad that you did it.

The big question is getting the thread color "just right" as JPM Coachworks has said in their posts. |

We are awaiting a close up pic of the E-brake boot for reference but have added the lever to our site in the meantime.

I am not sure what pricing we are referring to here, but expect similar pricing to our existing Subaru product offerings for these parts -- $60-70 for the replacement shift boot and $70-75 for the brake boot.
We have spent considerable time working with a thread manufacturer to find a match for this thread as it is cost prohibitive to have a custom thread color created at this time (this costs several thousand dollars unfortunately in addition to minimal order requirement sizes). Nevertheless, our perseverance on the issue has paid off. We have "okayed" the production for a batch of thread that is extremely close to what we see within the BRZ / FR-S platform. Fortunately, we only had to order 22 lbs worth (a lifetime supply!) ![]() I am hoping to have a free hour this week to write up a proper introductory thread for this community about our business, our quality-focused design and production practices and our intended offerings for the platforms. We are enthusiastic about this platform and are excited to be able to join you all within this community to share our passion! Best Regards, Alex JPMCoachworks.com |

I'm really trying to find just the leather handle with red stitching, not the entire mechanism. I can find individual part numbers for the all the bolts, screws, and washers for the handbrake. Even the push-knob, but I can't find just the leather handle. I've replaced my shift knob, and have JPM shift boot, and handbrake boot waiting to go on. But, the plain rubber handle will really stand out. (and not in a good way) Grrr... Any suggestions?
