Red Stitching Ebrake.

Anyone know the part numbers for the red stiched ebrake. Maybe on the BRZ or the 86 in japan. The scion forgot to add it like it was going to break the bank or something. It has to be a easy thing to change out no?

I'm guessing you will need the US or EU spec part number since Japan is opposite of us. I'm interested in this as well.

I know the Toyota part number, but I'd like to know the Subaru part number, since that's what's going to be easiest to get in North America.

I've called a few Subaru dealers and none of them had the parts catalogs for the BRZ yet.

Sweet thanks. I'm assuming these are the same between the At and the Mt?

I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to remove it, take it to a seamstress or a custom shop and have them restitch it?

Yes, but it would require you to remove the part from your vehicle. Historically speaking, the brake handle is quite possibly the one product our customers rarely want to send in for work to be performed.

I was thinking more about the boot than the brake handle. I suppose you would want to do both.

They are the same, when I looked up the numbers I didn't check either transmission.

Cool I will wait a few months and order them. Should we just walk in to a subie dealer with the part numbers or would I be able to order these online somewhere?

I'm guessing it's cheaper online but I dont have any experience with Subaru sites.

Does anyone know if the FT86 and BRZ uses the same exact item?

The hand brake lever is sold as an assembly including the lever, boot and handle all together . As previously mentioned the BRZ part number is 26001CA030

Which part number are you referencing here? I presume that is the actual handbrake assembly as that number is completely different than the part number I was able to obtain today via our contact for the brake boot specifically. I spent over an hour today pouring through the SOA parts fiche and obtaining part numbers based on reference and production numbers as the Snap-On catalog is not available yet apparently. Pricing shown below is OEM "MSRP" or "List" pricing:

92123CA030 AT Shift Boot + Trim Ring 86.62
92123CA110 MT Shift Boot + Trim Ring 86.62
92122CA010 Shift Boot Surround, Silver 31.18
92123CA310 Handbrake Boot + Trim Ring 92.17

Cheers,
Alex
