Perfect! How the hell do you say thanks to posts here lol. I actually didn't realize that the glove box has another Cigarette lighter port in it so I can use it for additional USB powered ports and won't need a double in the center console. I ordered the same Rerli USB cable yesterday but I don't understand why I will need the adapter you linked from crutchfield. My current stereo just has a female USB plug on it, can I just plug the Rerii straight into that?

You don't need anything else to be able to use the Rerii adaptor.

The reason I linked you to the one from Crutchfield is that it would allow the Sony to connect to and use the original built-in USB port under your climate controls. It uses a proprietary Toyota connector on the back.

LoXodonte, how is the USB port going for you some months later? Was the quality of the part from Amazon good? Any pic of it fitted in your console?
