Arm rest/console cover vendor challenge
Calling all aftermarket entrepreneurs to see who can come up with a simple but clever, cleanly designed, affordable solution for the much needed arm rest/console cover for our cars first. IMO it should still have easy access to the 12v port and incorporate drink holders.
I calculate there is at least a few hundred dollars to be made on this product ![]() Now get cracking. Thank you

Agreed! Not too high though...don't want to be hitting my elbow on it when shifting.

maybe something simple and light and maybe out of carbon fiber for strength while minimizing bulk in the design!

Ya know after having it the first day i realized i really didn't need it at all. I used to lean like crazy on my Armrest, and now with the lack of one and the better seats, i sit nice and straight, and my arm is perfectly comfortable on the Ebrake. Plus i find the tray with the cup and phone holder to be a nice touch.

Also missing a hidden place for spare change (like the old fuse cover drawer in my WRX) Kind of ironic that I would miss these things, since I'm a track day junkie and have the tendency to remove things from cars rather than add.
I'm aware of Scions alleged plans for a cover, but am skeptical as to how soon we'll actually see it and if it will carry over to the BRZ.

All of my Subarus have armrests and I almost never use them. I haven't noticed the lack of armrest in my BRZ yet. However, the seat design makes it kind of uncomfortable to lay my arm across the seat-back.

I don't so much want an armrest, as I just think that a cover for the junk in the console will look cleaner.

Arm Rest/Console Cover
I too would like to see something developed for the FR-S, I missed it right away. Also if it's done right it would clean up the center console. In the mean time August isn't too far away so I'll be checking out what Scion comes out with then.
