I find myself unable to remain silent in the face of so many overwhelmingly anoying posts. This car was built for real drivers. Armrests are irrelevant, keep two hands on the wheel! Stereo's; please, listen to the car. A sunroof? I can't even comment on that one. Who cares if toyota and or subaru did the most work. You should only care that when you exited that last corner you were not even sure about entering, you now have a hard time finding your breath and you are in need of a change of underwear! This car is for drivers who want to feel connected to the road... to make themselves a part of the driving experience... the rest of the bullshit is just that. Drive, and enjoy.

What you have written is a nice opinion. I'm not trying to have a go at you. But I only have one question. Do you plan on keeping your car bone stock?

Really, overpriced? If you're comparing it to FWD cars or established cars like the WRX (which can rely on Impreza sales to offset development costs), then the fight isn't fair.

Perhaps call the RWD a 5k option and compare it to performance cars 20k or less. Would you say a 20k FWD performance car should have all that? Just to anticipate further question, performance in general is probably worth another 5k so for a comparison of luxury between a BRZ/FR-S and a non-RWD non-performance car, compare it to a 15k car. Or compare it to other RWD sports cars that are usually over 30k.

It's more expensive because it has a layout which is going to be more fun to drive than almost anything else out of the box and it's a great platform for handling upgrades. That's what you're paying for and yes, it's worth the premium.

By the way, I'd pay more not to have steering wheel controls! I'll be damned if I drive a sports car with buttons on the steering wheel.
