Even the original BRZ tS's in Japan were shown off in white more often than any other color. I don't think anybody on here knows why for sure, but my guess is because it shows the black STI parts (lip kit, wing, wheels) with better contrast than any other color.

Haha oh believe me I know how the paint looks in person! My own is CWP! But that all definitely makes sense. Didnt know it was considered premium there.

So, what he says is that the most noticeable change is the tires. This is the most basic change you can do and you don't need to buy an expensive limited edition model to have it. Too bad they didn't apply an extensive weight reduction the way they did it in the WRX STI type RA:

This week, I learned that I need a big wing in my rear view mirror.

We may get some additional colours, but we don't get the STI body kit or spoiler, and what's the go with the Cool Grey engine bay, is that the old intake setup in there? ![]()

Since you guys get the automatic as an option on your tS, it may just be an automatic equipped model. The auto still uses the plastic intake.

I'm sure the tS is fast on the track, but the reviewer has a point. I'm willing to bet a base FRS is more enjoyable to drive on a daily basis. It's roughly 70lbs lighter, easier to oversteer, and doesn't have insane grip. I guess it just depends on what you want to do with the car.
Take my opinion with a grain of salt, I'm getting ready to buy lightweight 16" wheels and relatively skinny tires. |

Almost everything he said in that review is the total opposite of what the majority of this forum says on most topics. I especially like this statement. "Ive never met anyone who has driven a BRZ or the Toyota cousin and asked for more handling. All anyone has ever said is More power. Five minutes of reading threads on here shows that both parts are not the common statements. Yes there are people that like the tires and stock suspension and there are certainly those that want more power but neither of those should be stated as absolutes.
