The only tip I would give you on your washing technique is to use an electric leaf blower to dry the car instead of a water blade. The less you touch the paint the better. You look like you enjoy detailing, you should check this guys YouTube channel out, he's on several forums and gives some really good tips on the topic:
Junk Man Great write up so so far. |

In high school (a really long time ago!) a friend of mine was a valet at a Mercedes dealer and they would take the nozzle off the hose and let the water just run out at low pressure and let water run over the car. That helps make the standing water droplettes pool and run off so there's less wiping you have to do too. I still use that trick. |

Agreed man!! Its a quick fix though because my KW V3'S should be here next friday
![]() Just got done installing the rear strut bar big thanks to PekoPeko for the writeup , if it wasnt for him i would have cut the carpet more just like the instructions that came with the bar state. Looks a lot better IMO with just a bit shaved. PekoPeko's writeup : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8877![]() ![]() Shaved just a bit with an exacto to make it fit and look flush ![]() ![]() I took out my spare and tools to save weight but put the foam back in place to keep the carpet from moving around, i figured the weight savings from the foam would be minimal. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bonus pic: Representing my local track:
