Oh, what I'd do to have Cool Grey here in The States.

Have you realize that the tS model will weight 2842 lbs?

I put down deposit on my white tS this week! ETA is April.

This will be my first BRZ/FRS, super excited.

Sweet! I’ll add you to the list when I get to a computer. Which dealer did you end up putting a deposit through?

Isn't Cool Grey being offered as a color for the 86 this year?

How much does a Base BRZ weigh these days? Surely it's more than the original 2775lbs. The wing alone must weigh 20lbs right?

That's 44lbs over a Limited.
I can see a full aero kit including a GT wing, draw stiffeners, flexible v-braces, and most importantly an 18" wheel and tire package adding that much easy.

I made the deal through the dealer at Fremont. Other dealers who had a white one was marking it up. As far as I know there is still one white tS available in Marin (not being marked up).

I'm not sure why any dealer would mark it up. The BRZ is already a tough sell, and I don't think any of the previous special editions sold out in the first few months.

Here in LA, with the exception of the dealer I'm getting mine through, every dealer is marking the tS up 5-7k above msrp, except one that will be selling their's for msrp but with around 8k worth of aftermarket parts on it, including an aftermarket wheel and tire package that replaces the STI wheels the car comes with.
Most won't even take deposits, instead saying it will be first come for serve for whomever wants to pay the markup.

Same as here in the Bay Area, except I contacted a few dealers who were willing to take a deposit & reserve at $5k over MSRP.

In the past my dealership marked up the special editions but we let the customer negotiate it. Despite the mark up some sold for at or even a few hundred off of MSRP.

Press events for the BRZ tS and WRX STI Type RA are in progress. Cars will be driven tomorrow. Expect to see some reviews/first drives soon from the major journalists (Jalopnik, Motor Trend, Autoblog) & even some YouTube reviewers

That seems like such a foreign concept to me! Here in WA, most dealers will mark up used cars and negotiate down, but new cars sell for MSRP or less. The Civic Type R was one of the recent exceptions.
