Thanks for extending it another day. I get super tied up at work where I usually review my subscribed threads once per week. Luckily, I was able to check today and saw it still at $950 on the site

Now comes the question of whether it arrives with enough time for me to get it installed before I leave for vacation on August 1st.. I'm hoping when I get back with wifey and she sees the car for the first time, she doesn't notice I spent more money on the new toy :P

I like your logic.

"Oh, it came with that performance exhaust honey."

Nice system. the weight savings is pretty awesome too. I understand that you would want to be quick to market to get initial sales. It would be intersting to see how much those undertray panels from the JDM model cost before you produce them. If they are cheap then a lot of people will probably buy them and you would want your exhaust to clear with those. They may be hard to get at this point in the production though.

Also titanium tips with the burned edge are really popular, you should consider that as an option or maybe for a later version. Also dual tips like on the STI concept look pretty good. Ti versions of those would look hot, but you'd have to see how that looks with the round cut out in the diffuser.

Personally I think the burnt Ti tips are a bit ricer.

I think this exhaust looks perfect as is.

I am anxiously awaiting more information on the SRT intake. I want to see what 'twin screw' means in this application.

I would be perfectly happy if no one made an exhaust with Ti burnt tips and in my opinion dual tip exhausts look terrible on the car. I wouldn't change anything SRP did really, I'm just waiting for the catback version.

OK, I have updated the 1st post with pics of the current resonators that we did the videos and dynos with. Sorry it took so long been ridiculously busy with phone, emails, pms and getting everything done so we can ship the exhaust out on time.

CAT Update:
A 200CEL metallic core will cost $125. addition option
A 100CEL metallic core will cost $140.00 addition option.
Please send and email to sales@swiftracing.com if you would like a CAT with your exhaust ASAP, include which CAT you would like as well as your full name. Thanks.

PS. I will post some pics of a possible different tip that I just received from our supplier, I will take a vote from everyone that has ordered and let's see what people think. We can do either tip does not matter regardless of vote outcome for the 1st batch. (Personally I like the newer tip, it looks like the STI version of the BRZ tips) Pics should be up tomorrow.

potential buyer here. Just wondering with the Cat added will it change the sound and volume compare to the Catless version? What about the Catback version? will that sound different from the headerback version? Also a suggestion for you guys to consider. Like with Fast Intentions exhausts with the 370Z, maybe you guys can offer the exhaust with different length/size or without resonators but at the same time retain the same exhaust note. So costumers can choose whether they want to be quite or loud. loud for me

Just a suggestion. This exhaust system is already near perfect IMO.

The newer current pics are what are going into production, these are the ones we did all the videos and dynos with.

Also notice that the piping is routed much more smoother than before.

Adding the CAT will tone it down just a touch. We can make the exhaust with a smaller center resonator or completely removed if you so wish. BUT the rear resonators MUST stay in place.

The catless exhaust, does that still leave the primary cat in the stock header?

I'd still like to pass emissions....

That's good to hear. And yes, I do mean the center resonator. I assume deleting that resonator will only change the volume and not the sound note of the system?
