Scraped my frame. It's now showing bare paint. Repair needed?
To start, I live in a desert like climate (SoCal). Not a lot of rain/snow here... Only in some mountain areas. Definitely no salt. Not coastal either. I think it's my frame or part of it.
Is this part replaceable? Or is it the actual frame? If it's replaceable, I think I'll let it be and replace it if needed. Do I need to do anything to prevent rusting? Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

It's totaled. No bother in trying to sell it just take scrap yard to be crushed.
Buy a civic. Problem solved.

![]() As far as the skinned up under pieces under your car, I suggest you just hit it with some good old fashioned Rust-Oleum. ![]() humfrz |

Judging from the pristine bolt heads rust will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, be an issue for you. I wouldn't even bother touching it up if it was me in your position.

Out of curiosity, is it part of the frame? Or just something that can be replaced as a single piece that just attaches to the frame? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

The close up pics make it very difficult to tell exactly where it is but I would guess it is indeed structural and would be a pain to replace. No point in messing with it.
