Garage
At the end of the day, a car is still a car. It sits in a driveway/garage/parking lot and is ultimately made to get you from point A to point B nothing more.

I think people think less weight means more sporting and better performance when that simply is not true their are many more parameters involved. The twins are a excellent limited budget sports car 1 of the very best of this purist mold as we've seen, but as far as out right performance it does not compete with a car like the 370z trying to spite its merits is absolutely rediculous.......i hope to god Toyota and Subaru are listening more POWA and grip PLEASE!!!
i dont agree with the fact that performance=sport. is the 370z a better sports car than the elise? or the v6 camry better than the 2000gt? i think its more about how a car behaves at its limits more than where the limits are

Nem370z, I hope that price given to you included some lube because the only person with a hurt butt is you obviously. List components that actually matter now and along down the line... RELIABILITY for example. Any wonder as to why the new Zs are selling at or below invoice? Really, I'm totally not going to waste any more time with this adolescent immaturity. Grow up some day!

Sure its numbers suggest its a great car, but the driving feel, reliability, and safety are all sorely lacking compared to other cars in this segment. The Mustang has better power/speed than the 370z, whereas the FRS/BRZ has better turn-in/handling/balance, the miata is obviously lighter, more fun to drive, and the camaro has more interior space, more power, and better looks. There isnt really one thing that stands out to me about the 370z other than that sexy exhaust note.
You need to define which 1's they are versions of the Camaro and Mustang thats waaaay out of the FRS/BRZ league...and it has a long way to go get to where the Miata's legacy is...its to early especially with the twins relibility problems to start handing out oscars...

Well everyone doesent agree with that....as a former NA Miata owner i love a light feeling nimble car but at the end of the day its slow...i and many others need more than just light nimble and slow...and cut it out with the Elise comparisons you know it has very high limits its meant to be fast and not just fun like the twins, sorry thats not a very good anology....

if you look at car and drivers vir lightning laps you will see that the z ran a 3:12 while the sc elise ran a 3:16 so it wasnt an analogy. okay i admit that there are a bunch of circumstances in which the elise is going to be faster than the z but my point is that gap is not proportional to the gap in sportiness. i know not every one has to agree but calling people with different opinions ridiculous is a little harsh. i feel like there are just too many examples of slower cars being sportier to say performance = sport

All this hating gets annoying.

Everyone has a preference. If I had the money, I'd get a fairlady z, rx7, nsx, gtr, supra... All the classy Japanese imports. For Euro, I kinda like the M coupe. Domestics... I like the SUVs and classy cars like '50s Hudson Hornet coupes....

It's same kinda shit with JDM vs showy "ricey" cars. Japanese market seem to love the flashy look, but over here we try to mimic their oem look.

And food is only a necessity of survival, so appreciate the bountiful protein from insects and the nutrients in gruel.

Clothing is only for covering the goods, so a burlap sack should suffice.

Sex is merely for procreation, so don't waste time seeking out anything over a 7, just start smashing the first female you see and continue from there.

No one know's what the meaning of life is, so why waste your time. (?)

I was going to say "Cars are only for "A to B" transportation, so just get a Corolla", when I noticed that's what you drive. So, the above statements must hit close to home.

No offense intended. :happy0180:

For me personally I'm done with Nissan build quality. I find you can't compare the workmanship on a Toyota/Honda vs a Nissan or Mazda for the most part.
My family has owned them all.

Well you saying the Z was not a true sports car....well that was rediculous....especially considering its the bloodline that started asian sports cars.So think about it dont you think that was pretty rediculous? If you dont i have nothing else to add to your comments...
