Could an exhaust shop be able to weld the cutout to my front pipe? Or would it be a better idea just to sell and get a 2.5in front pipe? Thanks
I had a QTP cutout installed when I did 2.5 inch from the overpipe back. The shop had a hard time finding a good spot to put it, they ended up right where the gap between the floor pan and gas tank are so they had a place for the motor to sit up out of the way.

My kit came with a 2.5 Y pipe. I have it installed on my front pipe before the resonator. It does hang a little low though so speed bumps may not be your friends now if your car is lowered.
