I like pictures.

I can't imagine buying an exhaust that expensive.

Seems like selling it could help you go in the direction you want.

Yeah, have the OFT, shared extensive logs w/Shiv and Wayno. Running a custom E85 tune. It got rid of 2/3 of the torque dip.

Thought, if I'm $400 away from removing the final 1/3, hey, might as well. But I don't want to screw up the nice setup I presently have.

Do you want a 3000lb fat twin, or do you want a 2500lb skinny twin? Some owners go to extremes to cut out weight, and a titanium exhaust is a pretty substantial weight loss.
On daily driver or a few time a year track car, completely unnecessary imo

My concern is the few YT videos I’ve seen with Amuse CB’s and a header is they sound horribly raspy - almost like an exhaust leak. The owners usually remark “yeah, it started sounding that way once I put the header on. That’s how a titanium exhaust ultimately sounds.” I find that hard to believe. I think they simply selected the wrong header.

I don’t want to screw up the solid setup I already have. Any insight on whether I should hold off on the header and/or what I should pair it with? I also currently don't have much cabin drone at all - not looking to turn this into an alarm clock for the neighbors.
You should consider one of two options:

1) get a front pipe with a large resonator (or even put it back to stock, front pipes don't do much for performance)
2) get an aftermarket header/OP/FP setup (from a single company) WITH a large resonator in the front pipe. So far I think only Apex'i and HKS has this setup.

The exhaust is nice but your lack of sound suppression in the front pipe is what's causing all that excessive noise.

You should direct your question at the previous owner of the car, not OP.

The definitive answer lies in this peer reviewed expert report.

Edit: I can defend the PO too since I have a $1500 SARD axle back for no other reason than I really like what SARD does and think it's a cool piece to have. Why do people collect thousands of dollars worth of Star Wars toys? Perceived value. Shit, look at BitCoin!

Most tracks in the NE have sound limits. LimeRock is actually a funny track to be at because race track + quiet cars = strange. If I remember right LimeRock is 86db limit
