Repair shop botched some repairs, have some questions with pictures
The day I bought my '17 BRZ I got rear ended on the way home. It took a month to repair "because we weren't happy with the quality", and now there are tons of problems on my what was a brand new car.
https://imgur.com/a/6AhMK They reused the trunk latch and it doesn't close correctly. It pulls to the right. Are those defrosters connected? They don't look connected, but unsure. The passenger side defroster pic has a black hardened goo substance dried onto the panel. There's debris all in the trunk. Etc etc I'm rambling, but my main question here is whether or not those defrosters are supposed to just be dangling or not. They seem like they should be connected. Thanks in advance |

Tell them, "you're not happy with the quality."
I was rear ended in my other car. It took them 3 months to get it in the shop so I kept driving it until then. Once I got it in they were done in a week. They had to replace the bumper, trunk, and straighten the frame. When it came back it looked as if it had never happened. But then it was a really good shop and they charged good for the work. |

Oh I have lol. Tried calling multiple lines and the calls go to voicemail prematurely, so I actually think they're screening my calls. About 4 calls in a 90 minute time span. I took it to the repair shop of the Subaru dealership I bought it from because I assumed that they would do the best job and I was so horribly mistaken. I got rear ended the day I bought it, waited a month, and now it's still nowhere near the quality of a brand new car that got rear-ended leaving the lot. I'm going up there first thing in the morning since nobody seems to want to respond to my e-mails or calls.

I'm sorry this happened to you too.. my sympathies. I have a 2017 that was rear ended in April and everything still isn't right. Think I got the car back first week of August.

Thanks. Anything you notice in particular so I know to look out for it? Something that maybe you didn't realize at first?
