Yep, the girls were having a baby shower, so we were freed up for the night.

It was a warm, July, Saturday night and we had hit several bars and wound up in a nasty one. We were sort of trapped inside when a group of Sunnyvale Motor Rats decided to mix it up with a few Hells Angels.

Now, my "army" consisted of a short fellow, a fat fellow, a big mouth and a big fellow that was a San Jose volunteer police something or other.

I took command of the group and led them through the "mud, the blood and the beer" and got outside where I thought we could make a break for it.

WRONG! Outside was a half circle of bad dudes that were blocking our retreat and looking for a fight.

I decided to go with the frontal assault and spearheaded my unit straight for what looked to be the leader ....... with my hand in my coat pocket.
(that bluff has served me well over the years)

The leader stepped aside and said to his gang, "let em by .......this guy either has a gun or is crazy". I didn't have a gun, so, I guess that made me ......... crazy .......

(now this happened back in the days when they just fought with large wrenches, chains, brass knuckles and knives ....... no guns)

We made our escape, with no injuries ........ and called it a night .......

LOL Wasn't criticizing the perfection just pointing out that the error reduces your rank a tiny bit. My spelling and grammar put me at the very bottom class.

In Japanese the word is used more broadly to mean "teacher" or "master." Like sensei, senpai is used in English in contexts of martial arts as well as religious instruction, in particular Buddhism. Sensei in those contexts refers to someone of a higher rank than senpai. Ranking below a senpai is a kohai.

Wow. I do the same. I am brilliant at math and database software, but suck at human communication. This took me over 10 min, and I bet there are errors.
