That is the exact car that I ordered and mine is coming in at the same time, I am in the same situation you are in regards to an optional car. They must have just made a batch of SWP Limited 6AT. I am 1 of 1 at my dealer, how about you?

SOA emailed me with a general ETA for October(5 of 6, Ordered end of March). Friggin fantastic.

I continue to be mystified by all these vehicles my dealer is receiving ahead of known allocations. Still seems fishy.

At least your dealership is getting random ones, I would love to see one random BRZ at my dealer just so I can snatch it cause waiting till spetember is going suck

My dealer got a "random" one and refused to sell it to me saying that he would "get in trouble" with SoA as I've already placed an order (1 out of 8). Kinda pisses me off as the car was the same except it had a few options added.

Over 100 days and no ETA or VIN yet. Pre-ordering doesn't mean priority.

Just got an email from SOA. Car should arrive at the dealership in September.
Ordered on 4/19, fyi.

Still a ways away, but at least now I have an idea!

I ordered in March although I made trim changes and component additions which effectively meant I reordered in April. No, I didn't lose position in the dealer pre-order line, but I did set myself back in line with the SOA. Whatever, latest I've heard is September as well. I'll be happy the day I get what I want! The waiting game is silly, but necessary!

Its starting to sound like the September ETA is just a line SOA is using cause they have no idea when out cars will be built or is it just me whose getting that vibe

Got an email from SOA yesterday telling me they had no update. Ordered 3/9. No ETA :-/

I feel my dealer jerked me around. They said early August with high confidence, but sounds like if I have no ETA it's going to be September or Later. I don't NEED the car, so I can wait, but it really makes me distrust dealers.

Just got off the phone -- no hold for once.

No information at all. She said all she could do was verify that it was ordered and see that it's waitlisted, but beyond that if no information comes up there's nothing she can do.

She said that dealers can call the regional office and sometimes get more information, but that isn't customer accessible and needs to be done by a dealership. Maybe worth one of us looking into that.

BTW mine is GBS L MT, ordered 4/20
