I've had good luck calling SOA for VON updates. I always get a person and they are always friendly an always have no updates on when I will see my BRZ ordered on April 10.

The downside is my current daily driver keeps wanting to turn into the Hyundai dealer to look at the Genesis. Don't know how much longer I can keep it from having its way!

Lana Downs is even more useless than John Mergen. She was the first SOA rep I got and I received the same line.

I just got off the phone with SOA and my Limited BRZ SSM Auto won't be in until November or later. I ordered on April 10 with a dealer in MD where I was 3 of 5 allocated.

Time for plan B.

Lucky!! I called SOA today and after some digging they gave me an ETA of September which sucks. The funny thing is that the had to dig from other departments so its not official on the computer. So much for preordering in March

Can you explain what you asked SOA for them to find the eta?

5 of 6 at my dealership, at least that is what they tell me... Ordered at the end of March. Still no information. The guy who is supposedly (again, what they tell him) 4 got an ETA of September.

I really didnt ask anything special. I talked to a rep named Amy who I asked if there was any new info on my car. After she looked at my preorder she said that their wasnt much info available but she said she would check other departments to see if there was any information possibly available that isnt on file. So a few days later she calls me with an possible ETA of September. I was a bit happy and bummed about the ETA, but in the back of my mind Im think its just a ETA they have just cause they really dont know.

I have heard so much BS from calling the SOA 1-800 number I don't believe anything they say anymore. Once they told me my order will change from waitlist to shipped when the car is assembled in Japan. once they said it will change when its released from port. people here have said they got a rep to email them updates, every time I call they tell me the system is not set up to handle that request. I have heard eta of a few months out, to there is no way to honestly judge that. I dont know what is real anymore and what is what they tell you to stop you bothering them

Well after 115 Days I FINALLY have a VIN and ETA as of last evening. Still two weeks to wait but after this that’s a walk in the park. FYI mine was ordered 3-13-12, BRZ Limited, SWP, Auto.

(As a side note I was a day away from buying another, had I not heard on mine, that was found for me by the forum, it’s a Black Limited Auto at http://www.courtesysubaru.com/index.htm, in Rapid City SD. It was MSRP and a maintenance package which the Sales Manager said he would remove from the price, great people, ask for Jay True tell him Gary referred you.)
