It's halfway between DS and STX pax. Look like a good starting point to me.

The alignment is a PITA too. The rear has a lot of cross-talk between toe and camber so we had to keep going back and forth between the two. The front gets a good chunk of camber from slop but it's not a simple matter of just maxing it out because of clearance issues. (At least with the rivals) |

It's on that one forum somewhere.
You can probably ask Mike Maier, too.I'd be interested in doing a true test with the CS ND and the SSC car. I drove them back to back and put down extremely similar times on a 60s course. I think they're both just as fast as one another. PAX is "accurate" given similar tires. I drove both cars with 225 Rival S. Yeah, the ND is just that fast. |

idk I read that pax as 'give an 86 a better alignment and it's actually on par with an ND'
No way is a lame tire on an SSC prepped 86 going to run times with CS The SSC kit isn't STX-lite, it's a Street+ |

On certain courses, it is STX-lite. It handles very similarly with a tad more roll. So long as you don't spend a lot of time in the torque dip they will be pretty close to each other.
I've driven a few STX cars, the CS trim, DS trim and now the SSC car. It certainly handles more closely to an STX car without the power, since you don't have to tip toe around a junk front end. |

You've alluded to getting over -3 degrees of camber on an SSC car I think, but it's not by much right? After seeing you drive Rich's car at Round 1 this year I have no doubt you know what you're talking about.

I agree, it will all depend on what tire SSC runs. |
