^I concur.

Use to have a 350z. Wife would like to get another 350. She's not that fond of the 370z though. I wouldn't mind a 370 myself. Like that throw back look to the older years.

Wasn't saying everyone, just the ones with the most negative opinions who seemed to be the least educated.

See, to me this to me is not a throwback. I see certain styling cues lifted from the car (hood bulge, window shape, gauge pods on the dash) but the new car is gargantuan compared to the original! Apart from the name and drive layout, they're not much alike. As was stated before, the BRZ feels like a much more worthy successor to the original Z. Every Z after the s30 chassis just got bigger and heavier, and more GT-like, a fact that has been criticized in every generation from the S130 up to the Z34. Such is the natural progression of all cars, I suppose... I still like all of them, don't get me wrong (even the Z31!!) but the Z car has gone in such a direction that I no longer desire to own one. I thought driving the Z34 would make me want to get rid of my S30Z... instead it made me want my S30Z even more!

That's the very thing I was referring to. Not to imply it was any closer to the throwback than that. If you sat those side by side and told me to choose one, I would go the old school route, even though it's not more advanced, faster, or whatever else. Can't replace that Timeless feel.

No one will understand the fr-s brz until they get behind the wheel of one and push it to the limits... So fun

You sure??

Most important "requisites" are good handling and minimum weight. The 370Z is a pretty well handling car but the BRZ is a good handling car with minimum weight too. Therefore by my definition, the BRZ would be considered more of a sports car.

You don't have to push it to it's limits to have fun and understand it.

and as long as you keep trying to define things that really shouldnt be put into words, the mazda2 is a good handling car and has even less weight. is the brz a better car than the 458?

I said that the BRZ is more of a sports car than the 370Z by that definition...you said it wasn't...I explained why I said what I did...no need to bring up irrelevant cars.

You're not gonna change my perfectly reasonable opinion.

That's all i can think of when i was reading through there. I only read the first page and they seemed to be pretty civil whilst comparing their cars to the FRS.
