I wanna install even skinnier tires to make it slide even easier

You can and will overheat the pads and fluid, if you try hard enough, as I am sure you know.

For the price and the additional content you get, I think it is a great option for the street or up to intermediate use cases.

If we are going to talk about a great solution for this platform, I would be directing you to AP Racing brake solution (sprint or endurance) for a kit I would back (with hub cooling in the endurance kit).

For the price, that is sweet.

For the weight and power of this car, I am not sure why would need more braking and cooling for the brakes than that.

Soooo... care to educate me a little more?

The Brembos I got, can they handle non competition blasts on a track that are purely for fun and not for going the best against the clock or anything like that. Would these Brembos do it well? or I will still need upgrades?

They will do it very, very well. That is exactly what they were designed for. You could put the best system in the world on there and somebody will come along and tell you there is something better.

I'm having a pretty lazy and slow weekend and I'm watching reviews of the FT86, and it seems the standard brakes fade out pretty fast on a track.

I tried to find I can about the Brembo package but all they say is that it significantly more fade resistant. That's not saying much honestly...

They fade from heat and the bigger brakes shed that heat better. You will have to push it pretty hard to have many issues.

Plus, I will admit, I did occasionally overheat the brakes to the point of the brake pedal dropping to the floor while driving enthusiastically on vehicles I've previously owned, so maybe I should shut up about not needing Brembos LOL.
Haha, a very good call indeed then. Plus they're stinking gorgeous--snapped this picture while we were installing mud flaps. Not retouched, they just look that good.

I'm an HPDE instructor, and so far I've had my stock '17 PP to the track twice, w/ no hints of fade either time. Oil temps did get higher than I'd like, so the car didn't get full 25 min. uninterrupted sessions. Looks like an oil cooler is ahead of any braking upgrades on the priority list!

Thanks, this is very reassuring to hear. I honestly don't think I'll be pushing it that hard if I ever do end up going to a track event so this should be plenty enough for me.
