As a matter of fact, some of the pictures I've seen on here of the white pearl paint appear that the bumper covers (front & rear) don't match the body perfectly right from the factory and part of that is because the flexible bumpers have an additive in the paint to allow flexibility and they are prepped for paint differently and are not painted while installed on the car.
With the Whiteout paint this is ABSOLUTELY the case... (color matching the body)... I have a Subaru Legacy in the exact same white... after a year, the bumpers are yellowed at a different rate as the rest of the car. Just my observation...

After reading this thread, if you actually care, yet make a mistake, the owner will hate you for it anyways. Actually not caring prevents you from having the reverse effect of trying too hard to NOT make mistakes, which eventually ends up in you doing something worse...

Not that I don't care about other people's things (I take "Treat other's as you would like to be treated" to heart), but when you keep thinking "don't fuck up don't fuck up don't fuck up" You're going to make a mistake.

I've had dealerships damage my cars before. They will ALWAYS act like it's no big deal that they put a dent in your car.

Common excuses range from that they're not responsible for damages because they put a sign up saying so, it was a careless driver/tech, they'll give you a free 20 dollar oil change if you let them fix it without making a fuss...

They're there to make money off of you and shut you up in in the cheapest way possible. If they damage what is a new car in a way that they wouldn't be able to sell it as new (assuming they're honest) take them to task and force them to pay for devaluating your vehicle. If a stranger on parking lot did that to your car and offered some half-assed fix like your dealer did, would you accept it?

If they fix it, make sure that you have a warranty for when their cheap paint job starts to peel, or the rest of the car stays white and your bumper turns a faded book page yellow.
