I live in MD too. I rarely see another twin and when I do, it's usually dirty and stock. 🤷*♀️

I kinda like it, because although there are 1/2 more we’re still way less than the VW GTi brigade (etc). Plus mine is currently lightly modded - soon to be a little more heavily modded so that gives me a uniqueness factor. I don’t do the dropped/stanced thing though. Most of my mods are hidden - aka engine mods. As far as I know toybaru is pretty disappointed with sales here.

So I recently took a trip to California. I have to say Cali is the home of the twins. I counted 26 while I was there for 5 days, on average 5 per day. I don't even see that amount in a year where I live in NY.

I admit I hate it, because it triggers my social anxiety.
I see them around a good bit, parked or driving. I'm usually on foot when I do though, so that helps. |

Yeah.... I think you're missing the point. To have 400+ whp on tap and get 30 mpg anywhere, that is incredible. I enjoy all my cars on the road, and personally find it much more fun to drive a fast car slow than a slow car fast. It is just a different kind of fun knowing you have more on demand than knowing you're maxing something out. |

Quite the opposite for me, I love seeing the odd twin here and there. I think I see about 1-4 per month. There's so few on the street here in FL compared to others (or at least along my commute). I always give them a thumbs up if I can see the driver, and they usually return one back if they can see me. I like it.

I actually don't mind the only thing I don't like is when the driver is a raging jerk or swear he's the ish (usually New Jersey BRZ owners).
