Uel headers w a 3in Nameless catback

Does anyone have uel headers w the 3" Nameless catback or any 3" catback and have a sound clip or something. Im looking at tomei uel headers currently. Im just looking for a video or something and im hoping it will have that nice Subaru rumble to it. It seems like every video i find is with an invidia exhaust

catless headers + nameless' catback + 3" variety at that ..
all three bits are ones increasing loudness. I predict that summary increase might get above tolerable level, no matter what the tone.
If under nvidia you meant Q300, then there is reason, why this almost stock quiet catback often gets chosen. Exactly because it helps keep noise level in check when paired with other "loud-bits".

So the headers are going to make the car significantly louder? Its not the loud now like you can only really hear it if im really on it or if im at kinda high rpms like over 5k. If im cruising like 55 in 6th you cant hear it at all in the car. I knew headers would make it louder but not untolerable. And every video i see is the N1

Found this in the Nameless downpipe thread. Very similar to what you're asking about.

I appreciate it. Im assuming if i do order the headers it shouldnt be as raspy or anything since i still have stock front and over pipe.. After the headers my next purchase a few months from now is going to be the ptuning turbo kit since there shop is only 4 hours away. Its the reason why i bought the 3" Sorry i couldnt find the vid

There probably will be rasp. But in all honesty, I find the droning more annoying than rasp. Plus the burble will help the sound

Once you go turbo, there's going to be no rasp. NA that's another deal... most likely some rasp.

Yea im really just hoping its not going to be loud to the point where i cant have a conversation with the person next to me when im just casually driving. I shift real early already just because the little gear shift indicator in the car wants me to. And it just feels like a smoother ride shifting before 4k rpms. I could care less about holding a convo when im really on the gas and driving like a maniac.

You'll be fine. The loudness is more or less subjective. If you keep the stock front pipe everything should be fine.

Cool thx for the help.. im going to stick to it. I always have the fear of regretting a purchase when it comes to something for the car. I have 5" mufflers as well.

also bear in mind that in case you replace the header, you are going to need
tuning so that to assure no CEL will come up, especially if header is catless!

Different setup, but Nameless header, 3" JDL catted resonated over frontpipe and resonated midpipe droned at ~70mph, partly because that's cabin resonance. From outside the car its a touch brash WOT, very quiet at idle and a nice burble. My season codriver thought it was too quiet in the car, he didn't realize he was riding revlimit...

Also had people think it was a UEL on a couple occasions.

The question I'd like answered is, if your going turbo in a few months the why are you wasting money on headers and the tune for them if your going to have to toss them out when you go boost?
