Don,

It looks great, I know how in the middle of a build you think, wow that would really be cool, better, more cost effective...

Keep up the good work, and that was brilliant routing the hot side around the bumper support, I didn't realise there was that much room. lol

Its a tight squeeze. I kept silicone in those areas so that they do not cause any harmful abrasion to the headlights or its components.

But the F-series are much like the EJ's for anyone who hasn't seen the insides of them.

You really think 1G of force downward is a concern to a piston's life cycle?
The piston ring failures largely come from the tight rings from the factory. The hyper eutectic castings are also brittle in failure, so a good detonation and failure yet again. It's all compromises that the EJ25 had to make to fit a decent rod ratio with a short deck and meet cold start emissions...the piston got the short end with it's shortened compression height.
Boxers all have a bit of an oily start up and some smoke from them sitting in their oil whenever shut off though. Unlike most engines, the oil puddles at the bottom of the cylinder and will collect in the rings, which under start up goes out the tailpipe, all the more reason for the tight PTW, ringlands and ring gaps to pass EPA and Euro testing from the factory.

As for Accelerated, it'll be interested to see where this goes!

To much power IMHO. You wont be able to enjoy 1st-3rd gear unless you have really sticky tires and you wont be able to get on the gas coming out of turns unless you want to go side ways.

I think many high HP cars have multiple maps you can switch between depending on the amount of power you are hungry for. I'd love 600whp, but only every once in a while.
