Wish I knew where to order SSRs...although they're not cheap!

I wonder if my 15x6.5 Konig SubZeros from my Neon would fit over the BRZ brakes.... Those are light weight, 12.9lbs. Probably not.
But I am interested in 16" light weight wheels for the BRZ. Has anybody installed 16" wheels besides the factory jdm wheels?

RS Watanabe F8F Magnesium 17x7 13.2 lbs
RS Watanabe F8 Magnesium 17x8 12.8 lbs
i think offset is +40 for both

it's weird. those are the weights posted on their website but for some reason the 8" wide rim is lighter?

Its not really about weight of the wheel but the tire.

I thought I would have massive weight difference by switching over to the RPF1's that are 17 x 8 15.4lbs

How ever the New Tires I put on that are 245 Section Width weighs 25lbs so it turns out the New Combo is about 40.6lbs making it exactly the same as stock weight of tire and wheel.

How ever you are running more rubber and more wheel making it more beneficial. If you are just thinking about weight alone stick with 17 x 7's and a small tire and you can get your lightweight

Thinking lightweight 16s or even 15s if they will fit over the calipers.

When moving to larger tires, I always look at the lightweight rim not as a means to save a bunch of weight on the car overall, but to offset the weight you are gaining in larger tires.

Now if you are using stock sized rims/tires then it's overall weight reduction.

Here is what I'd like to see...

Enkei Racing RPF1 16x7
Offset: +35mm (will this fit??)
Backspacing: 5.35"
Weight: 13.7lbs
Price: $207 each on TireRack

Hankook Ventus R-S3
Tire Size:225/50-16
Weight: 25lbs
Price: $123 each on TireRack

Apparently Tire Rack shows 16" wheels/tires if you go to the winter section.

Where did you locate these? Are they still in production? Seems like a good solution so long as the rear fender lips aren't an issue.
